10 How to connect to wireless network by using TP-LINK Utility

Step 1 Open the Utility, point to Profile Management tab, click Scan.

Step 2 Click Refresh to view wireless networks, then select the wireless network which you want to connect, click Activate.

Step 3 Configure the settings for the network

 1.     Type a Profile Name and Client Name for this connection, and ensure that SSID1 is correct with the wireless network.

2.     If the network is secured, you need to set up the same security setting in the Security page of the Utility, and if the network is unsecured, you can select None or ignore it.

3.     Check the wireless advanced settings for the connection.

Step 4 After you had done the configuration by following step 3, click OK.

And then the profile name for this connection will be displayed in the

Profile Management page and marked with  which means active.

And the Current Status page will show the detailed status of this connection.
